Heatwave lingering. Yet wafts a sign of autumn. All subservient.

In my memory, Floats up the raspberry bush. We both ate the fruit.

Summer’s burning sun. Even street tree leaves are wilting. Drinking much softdrink.

Gnarled ugly pine tree. By the rock adorns the garden. Beauty takes all things.

A mid-August moon. Bright but seems lonely up there. Too far to converse.

Somehow, I feel strange. Summer weather in summer. After long cold rains.

Deluge all day long. Deadly floods across the land. Double punch with Covid.

Friday the thirteenth. Went as any other day. A matter of course.

Such a long long time. Waiting for laptop to work. Leaves outside laughing.

Trees animated. A typhoon is passing by. Yes, trees are living.
