Walking in sunlight. A lull in the rainy season. Trees and grass stretching.

Time for gardenias. A culmination in a year. So much of blessing.

All still and quiet. Tree leaves only waiting, too. Pandemic to end.

Happy solstice. Can’t help thinking of the power. That makes all that happen.

Covid shots finished. In the middle of rainy season. I see bright sunlight.

Tapping at window. The leaves of tree by the house. Too shy to come in.

Without my knowing. Hydrangeas began blooming. Rainy season lingers.

Sparrows on the fence. Just two but for the first time. Seen in many months.

Mind like placid lake. Truth finds its way to pervade. Rich gift from nature.

Summer’s extreme heat Just began to befall us. Cannot but cope with.
