Blight for vegetables. Virus for sentient being. Retribution divine.

No crows, no sparrows. Worried they all disappeared. Climate change, so bad?

Dandelion clocks. In the cracks of the pavement. Air is still, lonely.

Long path to the park. Canopy of cherry flowers. Confetti of petals.

Azaleas dropping. Don’t tell me spring is over. Stay a little longer.

No temple bells, no birds. Where on earth all the sounds go? No sound is darkness.
