The pandemic scare Come what may spring sun doesn’t care Follows nature’s course

Warming up the room The spring sun through the window Easier to get up

Burst into blossom A lone plum tree by the house Its time has arrived

Cloudy but I know The sun is up there shining Warmth reaches through here

Timidly peering Grain-size buds of small bush flowers Hope is big for spring

Nice walking outside Cold air still blows through my clothes Yearning for true spring

Of so many trees Lining the narrow pavement One still has flowers

Patiently waiting For the temperature to rise Though I hear of spring

Goes on forever Obey the course of nature As the winter goes

One camellia tree Still has flowers along the path Looking very proud
