A lone butterfly
All hydrangea to itself
Many used to share
A powerful comment on a sad reality.
Yes, and I’m glad you feel that way, too.
I’ve been thinking that about my buddleia shrub. When I was a child, I remember such shrubs covered with peacock butterflies. As for my hydrangeas, I’ve three of them and haven’t seen one butterfly anywhere near them.
Where have they gone, I wonder.
To another dimension, perhaps? I like to think that they’re somewhere, rather than nowhere.
Beautiful scenery as always your words portray. 🥀🥀🥀
Thank you. 🙂
