(I’m so happy and excited to tell my blog friends that about 500 of my haiku poems are published in a book with an American publisher. It’ll still take a few more weeks before the book to be available to the public on Amazon, etc. or for me to get copies. But you can see how it looks like by visiting the website of the publisher, Lulu.com, and punching in AshiAkira on the Search window there.
I’m particularly excited because I had at first thought it would be impossible to publish my stuff in America, thousands of miles away over the Pacific.
I am deeply grateful to those of you who first encouraged me and “pushed” me to at least try the publishing. I wish it would be possible to send my signed copy to each one of you.)

Ashi, this is wonderful and I love the cover… but what about us poor mortals in the UK? Will it only be available in the US? Luckily I have a daughter in the US and I am sure she will get me a copy, but it would be good if I could get it here in the UK.
The publisher said it will be put on international sales networks, “Japan excluded”. But it would take a couple of weeks for the book to be available on Amazon, etc.
