The sound of spring rain Bird’s shadow on the window Another spring sound

Windy dusty spring Women wear scarves over hair Crows bathe in park pond

Spring storm raging Pushing back the cold spell To make way for flowers

Scattered clouds run fast Under the moon full and bright Leaves whisper in winds

Spring wind caresses The park lawn yard kids toddling Mothers watch cross-armed  

Winter days going Warmth coming in with sleepiness Birds can’t wake me up

Spring sunlight began End to camellias’ life Withering brown drooping

Thin smoke of incense Dances in quiet music Monks chanting sutras
