How beautiful– both the image and the attendant feeling. And it fills me with gratitude for the simple pleasures of life, and just being alive.
I’m smiling because your lovely haiku also conjures up an image of me on winter mornings: darkness, stillness, hands cupped around a hot cup of coffee, and my stocking feet (well, my toes) pressed lightly against the glassed door of the woodstove, which is still warm from the night’s fire. Contentment… but I can’t express it as concisely and poetically as you, sir! : )
lovely.
Thank you.
Yes. Lovely and I like the repetition ‘cup’ and ‘cupped hands’.
Thank you. 🙂
Such a sweet-serene experience.
Thank you. 🙂
Warm inside, frost outside 🙂
Awesome, Ashi 🙂
Mo-hugs and kisses ❤
Thank you, Monica. 🙂 Keep yourself warm, too. ❤

I feel very much honored and encouraged by such a beautiful comment just for me. Thank you.
