Fallen leaves twirling on the road
My shoulders shiver
We call these ‘fairy winds’ in Ireland and they can be very strong although usually only about three feet in height. It’s fascinating to watch them pick up leaves and carry them across a path or track. Your words describe them very well..
“Fairy winds”. I think that’s just the right word to call them. 🙂 Yes, they are free from traffic rules. 🙂
