Morning glories climbing up
No doubt mothers did
I see you’re following in the tradition of the great haiku master Matsuo Bashō with his many morning glory haiku, some of which were quite saucy!
I meant it for Mother’s Day. 🙂
I’m sure that Basho wrote some non-saucy morning glory haiku as well! And now I’ve read your haiku again, I can see that it’s perfect for Mother’s Day, and wholly respectable 🙂
Thank you for your special effort to read it again. I’m honored. 🙂
How cute, Ashi 🙂
Thank you. Mother’s thoughtfulness always behind. ❤

Morning Glory’s, the very thought is lovely. Right now my fence is completely covered in night blooming jasmin, at night the air is sweet. Thank you for the beautiful thought!
I thank you. Jasmin blossoms are seen in full bloom here, too. But they just don’t smell like jasmin. Maybe they are of a different kind or because of the climate. Anyway, I miss it.
It’s a lovely aroma, perhaps a bit overwhelming at times, still very beautiful.
Yes, it must be. 🙂
