I can feel the fresh gentle scent and birdsong rushing into my room and filling it up, despite my window being closed. 🙂 Such a great poem, it evokes the feeling of spring perfectly.

  2. AshiAkira, your words are as summer rain on a window- there for the reader to see and feel.

  3. We had a sunny day today and between trying to get the veg plot in order, I went around the garden sniffing and listening… just as you describe.

  4. I likes chirping of sparrows…

  5. r_prab says:

    Ah! Good Morning! 🙂

  6. mopana says:

Here is raining and as you said I can feel the scent of young leaves. Wonderful haiku, Grandpa Ashi ❤

  7. Beaton says:

    I heart this one……
    I saw
    a
    leaf
    fall softly
    to the soft brown earth
