In Romania it is the same, Ashi. Everybody on smartphones. No more live communications. Just Facebook 😦

  2. Sad but true. We’ve lost our ability to communicate. My teen would rather text than talk on her phone!

    Great observation…

Restaurants in Hong Kong were very noisy during my childhood. Though with the advent of smartphones, people are a lot quieter now which greatly surpised me when I returned from the US…

It’s a startling phenomenon, the rise of technology. When I go out I see everyone with there face and fingers in their phone…soon we will not need any “direct” communication…even when I go out to eat, rather than seeing fellow diners in conversation, they are all checking their mail. It’s a little unsettling! Take care Ashi and stay warm!

I understand if you can text things that you cannot say face-to-face. If the world leaders start texting to each other, I wonder if we have peace or wars. Or maybe some of them are already using some texting devices within their groups and exchanging views on ways to manipulate the world for their advantage. 🙂 Take care and be well as well.
