On a subway train

A girl offered me her seat

Her smile in the crowd

Very nice 🙂 She was polite. But you… You make Haiku from nothing. You’re a genius AshiAkira 🙂

  2. I like this (and the longer poem), you have captured one of the seismic shifts in our lives. I am getting used to it now, but the first time I was offered a seat, I felt both touched and sad – but also grateful.

“… touched and sad – but also grateful.” That’s exactly how I feel whenever it happens. But this time the girl somehow reminded me of the days when I was her age. The reflection of my face on the subway train window showed me so much change, but I felt no change inside. So much change but no progress…

Beautiful, my friend….The act itself, and the haiku you made from the experience, both….
