  1. Lovely, in every way: the alliteration, the enclosure of the second line, by the first and the third, mirroring the subject, the word play ‘leaves’ between ‘pages’ and the beautiful image. An absolute winner.

The second-hand books street sale is an annual event for the autumn in the downtown Tokyo area where lots of school campuses are located. Many of the campuses have now moved out of the town where the land is cheaper, but the book stores are still attracting throng of people, including foreign tourists who don’t seem to know Japanese. They are buying some books maybe for souvenirs. Thank you as always for the minute reading of my stuff although they are not in a book.

    Lovely – I feel as if I’m there. 🙂
