Persimmon fruit out
A little green but it’s autumn
Snow when they turn red
Great colour images – green, white and red.
Thank you as always.
Very very true … here they’re still very green .. it’s been very warm!
It’s rather warm for the autumn here too. But it will turn cold for sure when the time comes. Then the persimmons will turn sweet too.
Very true .. the sweet with the bitter … how poetic nature is!
Yes, it is.
I appreciate your observation.
They must look very beautiful against the snow. I didn’t realise they need the cold to make them sweet.
I’m not sure if they need the cold. But it’s cold when they are sweet. I remember the persimmon fruit as the only sweet thing to eat when I was a little kid. Sugar was very expensive then.
Much better for you than sugar!
I turn red when there’s snow, too.
