    What’s cicadas?

    • AshiAkira says:

Cicadas are large bugs with long wings. The male ones make big shrilling noise by vibrating their membrane apparently to attract female partners. They live and grow most of their lives (several years) under ground and come out during the summer to live their last part of their lives for a short while (about a week) during which they have to lay eggs before ending their lives. They live only on the sap while on the ground. You speak of the monsoon, do you live somewhere in Southeast Asia? I thought cicadas are common in your area too.
