    I’ve enjoyed reading your haiku.

  2. Heartafire says:

we are besieged with Cicadas, they are huge too! 🙂

    • AshiAkira says:

I can imagine what you have to bear with. Besides the cicadas, somebody told me woodpeckers there are about “the size of an elephant” that start hammering on trees with a tremendous noise early in the morning. But I’d say it’s still better than the traffic noises in a densely populated town like it is here. 🙂

      • Heartafire says:

we have lovely woodpeckers, they like to hammer on metal light poles , they really are cute…:-)

      • AshiAkira says:

That’s nice. Yes, they are cute. “…those small birds have unproportionally developed strong muscles in their necks so that they can get worms in telephone poles..” This is a joke a philosophy professor used to say when he talked about evolution.

      • Heartafire says:

Makes one wonder why they do not get horrific headaches ! Nature is grand

  3. Hear/here? Intentional?
