  1. So exciting. The plum blossom is swelling here opposite my window. I can see a haze of white dots that will be bloom in a couple of week’s time.

  2. I’m waiting for the Hermit Thrush (Vt state bird). Such a simple little brown bird, but it’s song is haunting and angelic.

    This is a perfect haiku, I don’t think we can hold to strictly the criteria of the Japanese haiku due to the syllable issue, yet somehow you are able to bring all the elements of perfection to your exotic poetry.
