    Very nicely done!
I *felt* this one — we’ve been having a lot of sleet here too. Such a strange silence among the people and the animals.
All the best to you —

  2. You’re sure I can’t talk you into doing a book? … shucks. Your work is so beautiful

    • AshiAkira says:

I’m glad you enjoy my work, but publishing a book is a hobby of the wealthy.

      • Not really, check CreateSpace. Biggest expense would be the graphic artist to lay it Find a good photo of your own to use as a cover. And I’ll bet you could get reviews from all the folks who have read and loved your work — no cost there.

I was stupid with my “Figs & Pomegranates & Special Cheeses,” laying out thousands for the artist and adjustments for the cover. There’s no way I’m earning that back unless people begin to buy it in quantity. The reviews are great, but I’m not terribly good at marketing.

For my next book, “My Father’s House,” I’m just going to use a photo of the house for the cover. I expect the whole thing shouldn’t cost me much at all.

At least google CreateSpace and see the options. Your work is so good more people deserve to see it.

        Sorry. I had said I wouldn’t nag …

      • AshiAkira says:

Thank you for the recommendation. I appreciate it very much. But the content is what matters. I just don’t have the energy to re-collect and re-read whole my stuff of 1,000 or maybe 2,000 haikus I have already written and sorting them out for publication. I’m lucky though I came to know of the blogging and found kind readers like you.

      • We’re the ones who win … Thanks

They are probably hiding from the cold – just like me. 😉
