  3. They do, just as you say, but although they look so sunny, I’m afraid I take my trowel to them. Daisies, buttercups, moss and every other kind of weed, get to stay and just get mown at intervals. Thinking about why, I conclude that it is because they have such a big flower heads and such strong colouring. I love them on the roadside. Now I feel guilty.

    This reminds me of neighbor kids from where we used to live. Their dad had the most perfect lawn in the neighborhood. One day – as a joke – they went to the park – pulled some dandelions & placed them on the lawn. OH NO!
