    We’ve had a stranger summer – drought in the spring, flooding for 2 months and then excessive heat! I hope the weather’s been better in Japan!

      We have a summer here, too. For some days it’s extremely hot and then its rather cool for some while. We had downpours a few days ago flooding hundreds of houses in central Tokyo. Yet the water supply to the city is now cut by 10%. This is because of drought in the areas where the reservoirs for the city are located. I think the weather is strange nowadays in many parts of the world.
